Rick Smith, an accomplished assignment commercial photographer based in northeast Pennsylvania, enjoys the convenience of being within reach of the vibrant NYC and Philadelphia metropolitan regions.

With an illustrious career spanning nearly three decades, Rick has been behind the lens for The Associated Press, daily newspapers, editorial magazines, industry trade publications, corporations, colleges, and universities.

Focusing on large format 8x10 photography, Rick's distinctive style has allowed him to capture the essence of rugged young cowboys, seasoned farmers, and the resilience of those affected by Hurricane Katrina's floods. His journey into photography commenced with studies at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, followed by years assisting editorial and fashion photographers in both Philadelphia and New York City.

In the present day, Rick Smith continues his creative pursuits, documenting various projects and embracing national and international assignments.
